15 months today!
What is little Miss up too these days...first she is VERY independent. She walks everywhere and hardly crawls anymore. She is still little, today she is wearing an outfit that is sized 9 months. She just hit 20 pounds but is 30 inches in length. Her hair still unruley and she has learned how to pull the bows out so we seldom leave them in all day anymore. She is saying more words most start with a "B", she says book, box, boom (when she falls), she has Dad and Mom down really well. I've taught her the only sign I know which is for more and she uses that when asking for more of something which is so much better then the whinning we had before when she wanted something. We will probably be going to the sign and sing class this summer with Kindermusik hoping she can learn more signs and will be able to communicate more. We installed gates to lock her off in the living room that went over like a lead balloon, so when they are up she just stands at the gate and cries and makes me feel terrible, but I keep her in because things have to be done and if she is free she is all over the house. She is still an AWESOME sleeper, she will go to bed around 8:30pm and we won't hear from her usually until 8:00am or later. She has been waking up lately, but she is also get alot of teeth in at once and I think she just hurts and so she cries and I go up to her room pick her up, calm her down and she is back to sleep within 30 minutes, which I don't mind, that is the only time these days that she will cuddle. She is doing really well in Kindermusik, I really expected her to be shy and reserved, but nope she is in the big middle of it all and really likes the other kids. Now the nursery at church is another story, she starts to cry when we are walking down the hall and then I hand her over and she is crying, but luckily she tends to stop somewhere between dropping her off and me picking her back up so it is getting better. She is a mess and has a really great personality, she is really fun to have around these days. She did learn a new way to crawl into "her" chair and that is over the arm of the chair and then falls in which is funny to watch, just think at Christmas she had a hard time getting in and now she gets in the wrong way and does fine. They grow up way to fast. She is eating better, but isn't solely on solids yet, hopefully she won't be 16 still eating baby food. But with all her allergies we've had to take it slow with the introduction of foods and that has held her back, but slowly we are making progress. Just wanted to share a few things that are happening with the little girl these days on her 15 months birthday!
