21 months - a little late and pictureless

Paige is 21 months old, yes, almost 2, where has the time gone??? She is VERY independent, she wants to do everything herself, no more carrying her, she wants to "walk walk" as she says. She is going to school in Tuesday and Thursday mornings the transition was difficult, but she is starting to do better, no more tears just a sticking out bottom lip to make mom feel guilty for leaving her. She is into EVERYTHING, she climbs like a monkey, even into the fireplace! Patrick is wishing he had planned our house a little better when he built it, but I guess a child wasn't on his mind when he was putting the plans together, she has also learned that she can stick her feet threw the railing of the upstairs loft, scares me to DEATH, again she has NO FEAR! She is very tall for her age, but still little in the weight catagory, last check up she was only 23 pounds, which was a huge gain because we had been at 20 pounds forever. She still eats like a bird most days, but every once and awhile she will eat like a pig, and I guess those days are the days that keep her going, but they are few and far between. She currently LOVES ELMO, mommy and daddy don't exist when Elmo is on tv, she goes to bed thinking about Elmo and it is the first thing I hear when she gets up, but she says "momo". The other night I heard her saying "momo" on the monitor, it was like 3am, so I looked to see if she was awake, nope sound asleep but still talking about "momo". She got the sleep talking for her Dad! She is a mess and growing up way to fast, but what a joy to have in our lives! Only three more months and she will be 2 and not my baby anymore!
